


BTW, the 2015's battery is also glued in so if a battery replacement is necessary the entire top case needs replacing just like the newer MacBooks. I have both the 2015 and the 2018 MBP and I can tell you that you will feel some disappointment with the 2015 once you've used the 2018. Not sure why you would say the 2018's aren't as durable. Multi-use ports, (you can do so much more with them than legacy ports) better screen, no issues with screengate, far better speakers, much faster SSD's and far updated hardware. Overall the 2018 MBP is a far better computer. Apple has ended their repair program for this. Nearly 5 year old hardware and it has issues with overheating and screen gate which is when the laminate anti-glare screen begins to come off making the screen look terribly dirty. The 2015 is definitely a downgrade for sure.
